Derrimut Childcare Retaining Wall and Fencing Package

Venald delivered a retaining wall and fencing package for the Derrimut childcare centre, with 145 m of concrete sleeper retaining walls and 165 m of tubular steel fencing. The project was developed by Oreana for operator Aspire and built by MC Building Group.

Retaining wall and fencing package

The package combined concrete sleeper retaining walls with tubular steel fencing installed on top of all retaining walls. Ashwood timber-look sleepers provided the textured finish shown around the childcare centre.

Construction in rocky ground

The site presented challenging rock soil conditions. A rock driller was engaged to carry out drilling for the retaining wall works.
