Look at the wall and fence drawings together
Wall heights, fence heights, gate openings and finished ground levels are easier to coordinate when they are priced together. Where a fence is fixed above a retaining wall, its support and connections need to be addressed in the project design. A fence line on a boundary drawing doesn’t show everything needed to build the wall beneath it. Sharing the architectural, structural and civil drawings early helps pick up differences between them before work is booked.
Define what the package includes
Venald can coordinate design, engineering, certification, permit requirements and construction within the agreed scope, using specialist partners where needed. The quote should say which wall system, fencing, gates, finishes and design coordination are included. Site access, material handling and the programme belong in the same conversation, particularly on a long boundary wall or a site with other trades working around it.

What to send for a package quote
Send the site location, current plans, wall lengths and heights, fencing specifications, gate details and proposed construction dates. Include any known easements, existing boundary structures and access limits. We aim to quote within about one week.
Common questions
Can the fence be longer than the retaining wall?
Yes. A fence can continue past the retained section of a boundary. Derrimut and Officer both had more fence than wall.
Does every package include the same services?
No. The agreed quote sets out the design coordination, materials and construction included for that project.
